Greenalia strengthens its management team with the signing of three new senior profiles. This process of senior talent recruiting is part of the company’s growth plan, where the team plays a fundamental role in the development of the new projects.

Laura Luaces has joined as Head of the Legal Department. Laura has a degree in Law and a Master’s Degree in Business Law from the Centro de Estudios Garrigues. She has more than 4 years of experience advising national and international operations in the commercial and banking-financial law areas, being part of the corporate and banking & finance departments of Allen & Overy LLP and corporate law dept. of Baker & McKenzie SLP.

Likewise, Juan Ortega, joins Greenalia as Business Development Director, mainly focused on the development of the new business line of photovoltaic projects. Juan is an Agricultural engineer and Executive MBA from IE Business School. He has over 15 years of experience in the areas of Business and Management in Renewable Energy and Engineering. As a step prior to joining Greenalia, Juan has been the Head of National and International Business Development at Solaria Energía, Head of Business Development and Asset Management at RWE Innogy, Bioenergy Business Manager at Acciona Energía, as well as Responsible for International Projects in consulting and engineering areas in national and international Development Organizations (FAO, AECID, UE).

Finally, Manuel Bueno has joined the group as the Project Manager of the 50MW Biomass electric production plant in Curtis-Teixeiro, which is currently under construction, having closed the financing (see the new on on July 25. Manuel is a mining engineer with PMP (Project Management Professional) certification. He has more than 12 years of experience as Site Manager, Project Manager or Project Engineer (among others). Manuel has carried out Project Manager tasks in different projects at ENCE and PÖYRY, with relevant experience in energy production plants from biomass.

Greenalia finalized its organization professionalization process years ago, and the incorporation of these profiles covers the new needs of skills and specific talent for the new areas of development of the company.
