On December 1st, Greenalia became public by its listing in the Madrid Stock Exchange, with a capitalization of over €43M. The company’s stock market code will be ‘GRN’ and its trading will be made through a ‘fixing’ pricing system.
Solventis A.V. has been nominated as the registered advisor of the company and will also perform as the market liquidity provider. Right before going public, the company carried out a private capital rise for a total amount of €3M, which represents slightly less than the 7% of its capitalization.
These actions are focused to reach capital in the debt and equity markets with the aim to complete the investment needs of the renewable energy projects that the group will develop in the next two years. In addition to the 50 MW for biomass electricity production -obtained in the 2016 auction- the company has just added 133.33 MW awarded last July to produce wind energy. Both projects will mean an investment of over €260M.
